Ok when i read this article... i was honestly not happy about it. I'm not even out of my 20's as yet and i find this alarming. Maybe i'm just being paranoid but its insane... Even if i slept with someone that i was dating i wouldnt be carrying their nude pics on my mobile thats just YUCK! How on earth could you share your gf/fiance or any of your sexual encounters with anyone? Am i the odd man out or what? Anyways read the article...
Wearing pictures of each other in heart-shaped lockets is passé. In this generation of camera phones, it is a rage with the youngsters to carry nude pictures of someone they just slept with! What is more disturbing is that this may not be for personal consumption. It may be a mode to boast about your latest conquest to friends. In the last one year, there have been 10 cases of couples in compromising positions being viewed on MMS. Psychologists feel that the menace may actually be more widespread and waiting to explode. "It is a disturbing trend. A number of my college-going patients have intimate photographs on their mobiles, which they flash before friends," says psychiatrist Hansal Bhachech. In fact, TOI spoke to a 22-year-old engineering student who has captured his girlfriend's breasts on camera phone. "There's nothing wrong with it. I am okay with it and she is okay with it. Moreover, this has boosted my confidence," the student said.
